Reporting School Activity
Both students and teachers have a lot of contact with a large local community. People talk and rumors can spread quickly. Sometimes they are just rumors, sometimes they are more serious. Teachers and students need a safe and anonymous place to report school issues, issues with classmates, or even issues at home. Crime Stoppers can be used for these situations:

Student self harm
If someone is wanting to harm themselves, report it to Crime Stoppers. Your report will go to the appropriate agency to get your friend the help they need and protect your information from being known.

bullying and harassment
If you want to report activity that isn't a crime, but the school may need to known about, Crime Stoppers can send your information to the school for a decision on an action plan or counseling assistance.

Threats of School violence
Anytime you have information that something bad might happen or someone may be hurt, reporting to Crime Stoppers can have immediate results.
For these cases we recommend students install the P3 application. This allows us to clarify questions about your tip through a text chat and get the best information for us to help solve your concerns, all while keeping your information safe.
Empower
students and staff
P3 Campus technology was created specifically to serve as a forum for collaboration and accountability between school administrators, peace officers, and mental health professionals to ensure every student’s needs are met. It gives us the capability to be proactive rather than reactive to situations or behaviors within your school community.

The Results
While school tragedies were the catalyst for many schools adopting reporting programs, it has become evident that when students are given a well-designed tool to report concerns, not only do they more regularly report threats of violence but also other serious concerns.
Vision
P3 reporting data from the state of Colorado 2015-2016 school year reveals that a majority of reports were non-criminal in nature.
An effective solution addresses a wide range of students’ concerns, recognizing that addressing the ones seemingly more minor can obviate the more catastrophic.
