Calling in your tip

If you decide to call your tip in, you can use

dial **TIPS.   

 

  • Your call is encrypted and routed to a Crime Stoppers Call Center in Texas. 

  • They will ask you questions and work with you to take your tip.   

  • As they take your tip, they will not document any statements that could indicate who you are. 

  • If you have a case number, please provide it to the call taker.

  • You will be given a Tipster ID number.  SAVE IT, you can not get it back if you lose it.

Web form

If you follow the link to submit a web tip (or follow a link from a specific case on LincolnCrimeStoppers.com) you will fill out a form that will walk you through questions.   

  • When filling out the form, give as much detail as you can.  We can not contact you after you submit this form. 

  • If you have a case number, please include it in your tip.

  • Do not include any information that might identify you.

  • You will be given a Tipster ID #.   Do NOT lose it.

P3 App

  • Download and install the P3 app on your phone.

  • Sign up with a password, (needed every time you open the app.)

  • ​Click on Submit a Tip.

  • Fill out the forms.

  • You can upload PHOTOS of anything related to the crime you are reporting

  • You will be given a Tipster ID #.  Do NOT lose it

  • Using the App you can click on 'Review/Update Existing Tip' to:

    • add more information​ to your previous tip

    • have encrypted texting with Crime Stoppers or officers working your case

    • check on arrests

    • check on rewards

What do we do with it now?

Your tip will now be sanitzed one more time to make sure nothing in your tip would identify you.

 

Your tip is then forwarded on to Law Enforcement to investigate.   If an arrest is made, you may be eligible for a reward!
